Getting started
What is Flexor?
Flexor is a free stretching, flexibility, mobility and strengthening exercise app for iPhone and Android, designed for regular use at home, at work or around training. Download it and start immediately: no Flexor account, name, email address or other personal profile is required. It includes 100 ready-made routines, body-area and difficulty browsing, multi-day plans, custom routines, favourites, reminders, sharing, local session history and streaks. Fully localised in 14 languages, every exercise includes video and spoken guidance in the selected language. The core app works offline. Flexor AI can find or build a routine, with free credits; internet is needed for AI and subscription purchases. Optional Premium adds extra AI credits, detailed dashboard statistics and dedicated Premium Pain Relief collections.
Is Flexor good for beginners?
Yes. Routines are designed to be approachable with clear guidance and gentle progressions. Always move within a comfortable range. If you have pain, injuries, or medical conditions, consult a qualified professional before starting.
Do I need to create an account or provide personal details?
No. Flexor does not require account registration, a name, an email address or a personal profile. Download the app and begin using the free routines and features immediately. Routine preferences, custom routines, favourites, reminders, session history and streak information are kept locally on the device so the app can work offline; they are not attached to a Flexor user account. Because there is no required Flexor account, you do not need to sign in before using the app.
Is Flexor available on iPhone and Android?
Yes. The official app is named “Flexor: Stretch & Flexibility” on both the Apple App Store and Google Play. The iPhone and Android phone apps have the same routine catalogue, categories, plans, free features, Premium benefits, AI, library and progress features; there is no content or category difference between them. Platform services use their native technology where necessary—for example, AirPlay Screen Mirroring on iPhone and Google Cast on Android—but provide the same TV-playback purpose. Use the official links below to make sure you install the Flexor app published by Flexor Labs.
How do I choose the right routine in Flexor?
You can browse the 100 ready-made routines by body area, goal, category, sport, difficulty, duration or routine type. Body-area browsing helps you narrow the catalogue to areas such as the neck, shoulders, back, hips, knees or ankles. You can also set your experience level, goals, constraints and focus areas in Settings. Flexor AI uses the information and request you provide to select a relevant ready-made routine or build a new custom routine. Always review the routine details and choose for your current ability and situation.
Is Flexor available in multiple languages?
Yes. Flexor is fully localised in 14 languages: English, Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Turkish and Simplified Chinese. Choose your language in the app; the interface and every exercise’s video demonstration with spoken audio guidance are available in that language on both iPhone and Android, in the free app and with Premium.
Pricing and Premium
Is Flexor free?
Yes. Flexor is free to download and use without creating an account or providing a name, email address or personal profile. Free users can immediately use the 100-routine catalogue, browse by body area, category and difficulty, follow multi-day plans, create custom routines, save favourites, set reminders, share routines, work offline, track local progress and streaks, and use free monthly AI credits. The free catalogue includes stretching, flexibility, mobility, strengthening, comfort and general relief-focused routines. Premium is optional and adds extra value rather than replacing the free core experience.
What does Flexor Premium add?
Flexor Premium adds a larger monthly AI credit allowance, more detailed dashboard statistics and progress insights, and dedicated Premium Pain Relief collections of routines and exercises. The ordinary stretching, flexibility, mobility, strengthening, comfort and general relief-focused catalogue remains available in the free app, together with custom routines, plans, reminders, favourites, sharing and basic progress tracking. Premium is therefore an optional upgrade for extra AI use, deeper statistics and the additional dedicated collections.
How much does Flexor Premium cost?
Flexor Premium is £9.99 per month or £24.99 per year in the United Kingdom. The annual option offers the lower effective monthly cost. App Store and Google Play storefronts in other countries show the equivalent price in the local currency. The purchase screen shown by your store before confirmation is the final source for the price, currency, taxes, billing period and applicable terms.
How do I cancel Flexor Premium?
Manage or cancel Flexor Premium through the Apple App Store or Google Play account used to subscribe. Uninstalling Flexor or deleting app data does not cancel an active subscription; after cancellation, access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period, subject to the store’s terms.
Routines and guidance
How many ready-made routines does Flexor include?
Flexor includes a predefined catalogue of 100 ready-made routines. They are available in the free app and can be found by body area, goal, category, sport, difficulty, duration and routine type. The catalogue covers stretching, flexibility, mobility, strengthening and strength preparation, warm-ups, cool-downs, recovery, relaxation, comfort and general relief-focused movement. Use the filters and routine details to find an appropriate starting point, or ask Flexor AI to identify the most relevant existing routine from the information you provide.
What kinds of exercises and routines are in Flexor?
Flexor focuses on stretching, flexibility, mobility and accessible strengthening or strength-preparation exercises. The catalogue includes warm-ups, cool-downs, recovery, relaxation, body-area sessions, desk and travel movement, comfort routines and general relief-focused options. These are general fitness and wellness routines for ordinary users, not medical treatment or rehabilitation programmes. Choose the category, difficulty and body area that fit your purpose, use a comfortable range, and follow the exercise cautions and guidance shown in the app.
What’s the difference between a warm-up and a stretching routine?
A warm-up builds gradually toward the activity ahead and commonly uses controlled, dynamic movements. A slower stretching routine focuses more directly on comfortable range of motion and may fit after activity or as a separate flexibility session. Flexor labels these routine types separately so you can choose for the moment.
How long are the routines in Flexor?
Most routines are around 5 to 15 minutes, although the library includes some shorter and longer sessions. Choose the time you have rather than rushing a sequence.
Do I need equipment to use Flexor?
Most Flexor routines and exercises need no specialist equipment and are designed to be practical for general users at home, at work or while travelling. You normally only need enough safe space to move. A small number of movements may use ordinary support such as a wall, stable chair or towel. Check the routine and exercise details before starting, clear the surrounding area, and make sure anything used for support is secure.
Should I stretch before a workout or after?
Before a workout, a gradual, activity-appropriate warm-up with controlled dynamic movement is generally the better fit. Slower held stretches can fit after activity or in a separate flexibility session. Needs vary by activity and individual, and neither approach guarantees better performance or prevents injury.
How often should I do stretching or mobility work?
There is no single schedule for everyone. For general flexibility, two or more short sessions a week is a reasonable starting point; build up gradually and allow for how your body responds. A qualified professional can advise when an injury, health condition, pregnancy, or persistent symptoms affect what is appropriate.
What are the best stretches for tight hips?
There is no single best stretch for everyone. Flexor can help you find a general-wellness routine by hip focus, time, and difficulty. Use a comfortable range and seek professional advice for pain, injury, or persistent symptoms.
What stretches help after sitting all day?
Start by changing position and moving comfortably. Flexor includes short desk-break routines for areas such as the hips, upper back, shoulders, and ankles, without claiming to correct posture or treat pain.
Can Flexor help with mobility for strength training?
Flexor includes dynamic warm-ups for workout preparation and gentler mobility or cool-down sessions afterwards. Match the routine to the activity and your current level; no warm-up can guarantee performance or injury prevention.
Does every Flexor exercise include video and audio guidance?
Yes. Every exercise in Flexor includes a video demonstration that shows how the movement should be performed. Guided audio provides spoken instructions and cues while you follow the exercise, so you do not need to rely only on reading or watching the screen. The instructional audio is available in all 14 of the app’s fully localised languages, so you hear guidance in your selected app language. Video and audio guidance are part of the exercise experience in both the free and Premium versions.
Personalisation and AI
How does the AI in Flexor work?
Tell Flexor AI what you want—for example your goal, available time, body area, experience level, schedule, constraints or movement preferences. It can respond in two ways: identify and present the most relevant routine from Flexor’s 100 ready-made routines, or build a custom routine for the request. Your Settings preferences, including goals, constraints and focus areas, help provide context. AI is used for general fitness and wellness routine discovery only; it does not diagnose symptoms, assess an injury or create medical treatment.
Can Flexor create a personalised stretching plan?
Yes. Flexor AI can use the goals, schedule, experience level, time, constraints and focus areas you provide to find a suitable ready-made routine or build a custom routine. Flexor also includes free predefined multi-day plans for users who prefer a fixed sequence to follow. Personalisation is for general stretching, flexibility, mobility and fitness use; it is not a medical assessment, treatment plan or rehabilitation prescription.
Can I use Flexor AI for free?
Yes. Free users currently receive 2 Flexor AI credits per monthly cycle, so AI can be tried without a subscription. Premium currently increases the allowance to 30 credits per monthly cycle. One credit is used for an AI request that finds a relevant ready-made routine or builds a custom routine. The app displays the remaining allowance and reset information. AI requests require an internet connection; browsing routines, building a routine manually and using the rest of the core app do not require AI credits.
Everyday use
Does Flexor work for office and desk routines?
Yes. Flexor includes short desk-break and long-sitting routines covering areas such as the hips, neck, shoulders, upper back, and ankles. Space and floor-position requirements vary, so review the steps first and choose a routine that suits your clothes and surroundings.
Is Flexor suitable for runners and cyclists?
Yes. Flexor includes sport-filtered routines and general warm-up, mobility, and after-activity options covering areas such as the hips, calves, ankles, and upper back. Choose for the activity and your current level; Flexor does not replace individual coaching, injury assessment, or rehabilitation advice.
What does Flexor track?
The free app records completed sessions, routine history and basic progress, including a streak that helps you see and maintain regular activity. These records work locally and do not need a continuous internet connection. Premium adds the more detailed dashboard statistics and insights, such as deeper history, trends, summaries, milestones and personal records. Progress should not be assumed to transfer automatically between different phones or after deleting local data or reinstalling the app.
Can I use Flexor offline?
Yes. Flexor is built to be used offline. The 100 ready-made routines, exercise guidance, multi-day plans, custom routines, library and favourites, reminders, routine player, session recording, basic progress and streaks work without a continuous internet connection. Internet is required when you send a request to Flexor AI and when you purchase or manage a subscription through the app store. Analytics or progress recording does not prevent offline use, and losing connectivity does not stop an ordinary routine session.
What can I do in the Flexor Library?
The Library brings together My Routines and Favourites. Free users can manually create, edit and save custom routines using Flexor exercises, and can mark useful ready-made or custom routines as favourites for quick access. This means you can use the 100-routine catalogue as supplied, organise the routines you use most, or build your own sequence from your understanding and preferences without paying for Premium or spending an AI credit.
Does Flexor include plans I can follow over several days?
Yes. The free app includes predefined multi-day plans that organise routines into a sequence and let you complete the next scheduled routine each day. The catalogue includes short introductions and longer sequences, with options such as 3, 5, 7, 10 and 14 routines as well as a longer sequence. Plans span beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Choose a plan that matches your current ability, follow the listed order, and reduce the range or stop if symptoms increase.
Can Flexor remind me to stretch?
Yes. Free users can schedule their own reminders, and Flexor can also send smart reminders based on activity patterns to help make stretching and mobility more regular. Reminder delivery depends on notification permission and the notification settings on the device. Reminders are part of the offline-first app experience and do not require an active Premium subscription.
Can I share a Flexor routine with someone?
Yes. Each of Flexor’s 100 public ready-made routines can be shared from its routine screen. The shared link identifies that specific routine; when opened, it presents the routine and can link the recipient back to the matching routine screen in the Flexor app. This makes it easier to recommend the exact sequence rather than asking someone to search the catalogue manually. Shared routines remain general fitness and wellness information, so the recipient should still decide whether the routine is suitable for them.
TV playback
Can I show Flexor routines on my TV?
Yes, with platform-specific playback. iPhone uses AirPlay Screen Mirroring to Apple TV or an AirPlay-compatible display; this is not a native Apple TV app. Android uses Google Cast with compatible Chromecast, Google TV, and Cast-enabled devices. The phone stays the controller, and both devices need the same Wi-Fi network.
Comfort and safety
What should I do if a movement hurts or I feel unwell?
Stop the movement immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, chest pain, unusual shortness of breath, or otherwise feel unwell. Do not force the range or use Flexor to test an injury. Seek appropriate medical advice, and urgent help for severe or sudden symptoms, before resuming exercise.
Can Flexor support lower-back or neck discomfort?
The free catalogue already includes stretching, mobility, comfort and general relief-focused routines that can be browsed by body area, including the neck and lower back. Premium additionally unlocks dedicated Pain Relief collections of routines and exercises. “Pain Relief” is a collection name, not a promise to relieve pain or treat its cause. Flexor does not diagnose symptoms or replace individual healthcare advice; seek professional assessment for persistent, severe or worsening symptoms, or when you are unsure whether exercise is appropriate.
Is Flexor a medical or physiotherapy app?
Flexor is a fitness and wellness app designed to support general mobility and warm-ups. It is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have injuries, persistent pain, or health concerns, speak to a qualified professional.
Privacy
Is my data private in Flexor?
Flexor does not require or store a personal app account, name, email address or personal profile. Custom routines, favourites, reminders, preferences, session history and streak information are kept locally on the device for the app’s offline features. If you buy Premium, Apple or Google manages the store purchase and subscription; it is not tied to a Flexor personal account. Flexor AI needs internet access but does not require identity details: the goals, focus areas, constraints and optional notes used for a request are processed by Flexor’s service and AI provider, and operational request records may be retained for security, troubleshooting and allowance management. App analytics and diagnostics may process non-identity usage and technical information as described in the Privacy Policy and current app-store disclosures.
How do I delete my Flexor data?
Use Delete Local Data in the app settings to remove custom routines, favourites, preferences, reminders, session history, streaks and other locally stored app data from that device. Flexor does not require a personal account or store an app profile containing your name or email, so there is no Flexor account profile to delete. Removing local app data or uninstalling Flexor does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; subscriptions must be managed through the store used for purchase.
Where can I find Flexor’s terms, privacy and health-and-safety information?
Flexor makes its Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and health-and-safety information available from within the app, so users can review how the service works, how data may be handled, the subscription terms and the limits of general fitness guidance. The current Privacy Policy and Terms of Use are also available on the Flexor website through the links below. Review the health-and-safety guidance before starting if you have an injury, symptoms, a medical condition or concerns about exercising.
