Lower body
Support the knees from every angle.
The knees sit between the hips and ankles and are shaped by both — how those joints move, and how strong the surrounding muscles are, all influence how the knee tracks and feels.
Flexor gathers knee-friendly mobility and gentle strengthening here, working the quads, hamstrings, hips and ankles with an emphasis on comfortable range and gradual progression rather than forcing depth.

About the Knees
The knee is a hinge where the thigh bone meets the shin, wrapped by ligaments and cushioned by cartilage, with the kneecap riding in the quad tendon at the front.
It bends and straightens the leg for walking, squatting and climbing, guided by the quads at the front and the hamstrings behind.
The hips above and ankles below strongly influence how the knee tracks, so knee work usually includes them rather than only the joint itself.

How Flexor personalises this
Flexor works around the knee — quads, hips and ankles — and builds range and load gradually to match the comfort and goals you log.

Move comfortably
- Stay within a pain-free range and progress load gradually rather than in big jumps.
- Avoid forcing deep bends that pinch or ache at the front of the joint.
- Seek professional advice for a knee that swells, locks, gives way or stays painful.
This is general fitness guidance, not medical advice or treatment. Knees can be sensitive — stop if a movement causes pain and consult a qualified professional about persistent, swelling or unstable knee symptoms.

Common questions
How can I improve knee mobility safely?
Move the knee through a comfortable range with gentle drills like knee circles and knee-to-wall, and add quad and hip work to support it. Keep everything within a pain-free range and build up slowly.
Why do my knees feel stiff?
Knees often stiffen after long stillness or a spike in activity. Gentle, regular movement and gradual loading usually help them feel looser, while sharp or swelling pain is worth having checked.
Should I strengthen my knees or stretch them?
Both tend to help. Mobility keeps the joint moving while strength in the quads, hips and hamstrings supports how the knee tracks. A gradual mix is usually more useful than either alone.
Are squats bad for the knees?
For most people, squatting within a comfortable range and building depth and load gradually is well tolerated. If a particular depth pinches or aches, work within the range that feels good and progress patiently.
